This form allows you to submit a suggestion for the scientific programme, present original research, or enter a competition.
1. Plenary programme topic suggestions
The plenary programme is recommended for senior clinicians and experts at the top of their field to suggest in-person presentations that showcase the latest data, developments, and practice.
Submissions include:
• Oral presentations
• Debates
• Edited cases
• Live cases
Submissions will be considered for inclusion in the scientific plenary theatres.
2. Call for abstracts
Abstract submissions are open for both trainees and senior clinicians to present original clinical or research work.
Successful abstracts will be selected for one of the following presentation formats:
• Best of abstracts - In-person oral presentation in the Presentation Zone
• E-poster - Displayed on digital screens during the symposium
• On-demand - Available to delegates through the online platform
3. Competition entries
Competitions are open for both trainees and senior clinicians to showcase your work and win a cash prize.
Competitions include:
• Rouleaux Club - "Limb on the Line": Create an infographic and/or infomercial to raise awareness of acute limb ischaemia. Prizes: £500 (infomercial) and £500 (infographic)
• Dragons' Den: Pitch an innovative idea, technology or device to an expert panel. Prize: £1,000
• Challenging Cases & Complications: Present a complex case or complication with valuable learning for the vascular community. Prize: £1,000

Review process
All submissions are reviewed by the CX Executive Board for scientific and educational merit. The Board makes all decisions regarding inclusion in the scientific programme. Submission through this portal does not guarantee acceptance.
Key dates
There will be two rounds of review of submissions by the CX Executive board. The first at the end of August to review early submissions, and the second review at the end of September.
Final submission deadline: Friday 25 September 2026
Notification of outcomes: By end of October 2026
Following the final submission deadline, the submission form will remain open for late-breaking data submissions only until Friday 8 January 2027.
Please note: Opportunities for additional presentations after the final submission deadline will be very limited. Late submissions will only be considered where suitable space is available.
Important information
All submissions must be in English.
All submissions must be submitted by the presenting author. Once a submission has been accepted, the presenting author cannot be changed.
The description of your submission must not exceed 250 words.
Presentation titles must be educational and CME compliant: Titles should be objective, evidence-based, and focused on clinical learning. Please avoid brand names or promotional language.
Please indicate your preferred format (e.g. plenary programme presentation, debate, live case, edited case or abstract) when completing the submission form. While your preference will be considered, the CX Executive Board reserves the right to allocate accepted submissions to the format they consider most appropriate for the scientific programme.
The CX Executive Board reserves the right to adapt, combine or refine submissions during the programme development process.
If your submission is accepted for a plenary, best of abstracts or competition presentation, you must be available to present at CX 2027 (6–8 April 2027).
